I'm kinda intrigue......

Why African American women called their hair weave?

LOL, dont know, its easier to say, better than saying my fake hair or something. You just get use to callin it that.

Why African American women called their hair weave?

if they say it's a weave, it means it's fake, they have sew-in weaves that get "weaved" into the real hair...and...well it's all kinda complicated lol...hair is serious business to us black women lol

Why African American women called their hair weave?

The process of getting it in is weaving the real hair with the fake hence the word weave mr smart...

Why African American women called their hair weave?

They do? Cool...

Why African American women called their hair weave?

A weave is when someone puts hair extensions in. Glueing or weaving strips of fake hair in order to give the illusion of length. So, if someone's calling their hair a weave, then. . .well, it's a weave. Not just a Black chick thing, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and various other celebrities and models wear weaves.

But unless they're using it ironically, most of us Black woman refer to our real hair as just hair.

Not very intriguing I'm afraid.
