I want my hair to be loose and long. I don't want hair that i perm and is as straight as a board and doesn't move. Can anyone give me some advice on how i could do this? Thanks..

first get a perm that is n't too stromg just enough too loosen your natural curl never super. your hair should look like it has a little curl to it then condition well under a dryer use a good product like masani after roller set your hair (use large rollers).After use the blower to take out the parts from the rollers put some vita point by clairol about a 1/4 size in your palm spread evenly and blow . If you continue to train your hair roller set often wrap at nights.your hair texture and bounce will change.never over perm and just touch the roots don't let anyone run a perm through the hair that was already permed that causes breakage.

You should see a real hairstylist who specializes in this...that way they can make sure that what they are doing to you leaves the least amount of damage to your hair. You should call around to salons in your area and just ask if anyone there has experience with what you are looking for...if they do then make an appt. I suggest going to a Redken or Aveda salon because they have to get alot of continuing education to keep their salon an "exclusive" carrier of those products so they will be most up to date on new techniques.
