I Want to Grow my hair out and get braids or dread or twists. but i don't kno how i would look like with a big forehead. if i keep my hair short it will look worse. and it will grow back fast. i need help

LOL @ da confused chick. Okay, I guess it takes an African American to understand hunh? (I'm kidding) My boyfriend went through the same thing, for like 6 months he wore nothing but a du-rag, a stockin cap, and a scully. He had comb twists, then got two strand twists, and now he has plats (single braids). I think that if you keep something that hangs and something you don't have pulled back constantly, you'll be fine. (This was typed assuming your a guy) No girl would really ask that question....she'd already know the answer.

would someone please tell me what exactly is "good hair?" i personally don't like when black girls use the term "good hair" because they tend to be talking about long, wavy biracial hair that is more similar to white people's hair. this is probably not your fault as you probably have heard your mother or others around you use the term. my hair is really thick and kind of long and sometimes women tell me i have good hair meaning it as a compliment. i know they mean well, and respond, thanks, but so do you, because in my opinion as long as your hair is well groomed and clean, ANY hair can be "good hair." not tryna preach, just expressing my belief.
