Honestly, and don't say you won't do this, grow your relaxer out if you have one. Perms are BAD for the hair, BAD, BAD, BAD. When I looked at a picture of myself from high school (when I was just pressing it with a hot comb) my hair was long and thick. 11 years later, my hair is about five inches shorter, broken off and thin. I am in the process of growing out my perm so I can go back to straightening it. Learn how to take care of your own hair, grow your perm out if you have one in, and use professional styling products only.
