thanks for specifing that u have a perm and u need curly fro look, the person above obvioulsy did not see the word PERM, ok, the only way to get a fro is, roll hair on small rollers, rods, or flexi-rods, and then u r gonna of course wait til it dries put a shining serum or gloss so it doesnt look dry, next u can either pull the curls out (ea. individual curl) with your fingers, remember to use to serum or gloss while pulling out, u'll have a head full of full curls, if u r shooting for a frizzy mess of a look then dont apply serum or gloss and comb the curl s out with a semi to wise tooth comb, u'll get a fro alright, then just spray some oil sheen, make sure the hair is totally dry though, i really like flexirods (the ones that r very bendable) b/c they let u control the tightness/looseness of the curl pattern, good luck, yes i do have a perm

If you want it go back curly for good you are going to have to wait but for the mean time you can put small rollers in your hair when they are wet and let them dry and that looks good!

What you could do is wet it so it gets frizzy and just let it air dry. If it's long it will curl up. I'm half black and European. I recently washed my hair, and right now it's a big puffy pony tail. My hair is long, so when I wash it, it gets really curly..Sometimes if I do feel like wearing it in a neat fro, I get garnier fructis curling mooses and creams..it gets my hair in tight curls and it looks really cute. But WET it before you put anything in it!

I grew my perm out a couple of years ago and I started by cutting my hair....if your roots are naturally curly then as it grows out I would suggest a super moisturizing shampoo/conditioner like Loreal curl vive! and mouse to shape and define curls and keep hair healthy and moisturized. Getting it to curl now, I would suggest a straw set. the curls would be tiny and look more natural. Good luck and even though it can be frustrating its totally worth it to grow it out!!!
