If you're having problems with dryness, try shampooing less. Most shampoos strip the hair and scalp of natural oils. You can rinse your hair with water or just co-wash. Co-washing is washing the hair with just conditioner. I don't shampoo. I wash my hair with baking soda and water. (I put 1/2 baking soda and 1/2 water into a bottle, shake, pour it on my head, massage for a few minutes, rinse, then condition.)

Honey is great for moisture and softness...if it's pure honey. Just warm it in the microwave, for a few seconds. Any longer than that and the honey will get too hot and lose the properties that make it helpful to hair. Then add it to your regular conditioner. I would not use honey alone as a styler though. It can get very sticky.

You can also use olive oil as a hot oil treatment, add it to your conditioner or as a pre-shampoo treatment (just massage some into your hair before you shampoo.) Coconut milk (full-fat) is good too. You can also add this to your conditioner. Be sure to refrigerate coconut milk after you open the can. Aloe vera juice is great too. Also added to conditioner.

You can use one ingredient, two ingredients, three, or all four. Experiment and see what you like. I use coconut milk, because honey, aloe vera juice and olive oil can be expensive.

Definitely. I use it about once a week. Put honey in your hair %26amp; then wrap it. Let it set for about 15-30 minutes. It works wonders.
