What is the best way for African American women to grow their hair natural after years of relaxers?
mm good question- i would recommend wearing box braids to allow regrowth of hair. another option could be nightly wrapping to create small waves which looks nice on some women. It really depends on what look you're looking for. But definitely don't do a weave on unhealthy hair which would cause further breakage along the hairline...and always pop some vitamins to speed the process along! :) hope this helps.

Conditioners. I am African American, and I am proud. I also use conditioners. Use the deep conditioners if you have time to do it, but the regular conditioner if you are on the run!!!
Hope this advice is useful, and good luck gurl!!!

I am a North African with naturally curly hair and I did the relaxer thing this year...along with a beautiful 18 inch Beyonce like weave after that....well now I have a head full of damaged hair as well....so I say to you Back to Basics...deep condition with olive oil weekly, pop prenatal vitamins(as they have an extra dosage), buy up some EFA oils as well as keep the extra heat off your hair..just wrap it and concentrate on your make up..oh and water, water, water for the best hair health!!! Good Luck, I'm here with you!!!
