I have been trying to take better care of my hair lately, the only issues i have is that the sides of my hair (right at the temples on both sides)looks like it is damaged or could be breaking. Does anyone know what i can do about this?

It is NOT because of your hair grease! You may need to moisturize your hair more if it gets really dry like mine does. While grease can be heavy, Pink Oil moisturizer, Moisture Max cream, or Motion's hair lotion (or any other similar product)may be better options. It may be that you pull your braids or your ponytail too tight? Also, try wrapping your hair in a silk scarf at night to prevent breakage from your head rubbing against the pillowcase. Use a good deep condtioner, and also a good leave in conditioner. Don't use relaxers or dyes too often, and minimize the amount of heat you use in your hair. I hope this helps!

It may have been damaged and you need to wait .Braiding tightly ,glue can really harm hair.Condition all of your hair and have a professional ( not a home salon ) take care and give you the tips to a healthier head of hair .That area may just be more notice able to you or more damaged .

Maybe you have tight braids often. Or when you put your hair in a ponytail, the ponytail is too tight. If you use gel, stop using it. And that "grease" stuff, stop using it for a while and see if you see any changes.
